Arcade – take 2

In my previous post I made a tub slider and left off some MDF off cuts, gotta utilise them somehow.

A quick measure and found the largest piece was “just” large enough to cut in half to form 2 sides of the arcade machine

Plus some scrap H1.1 studs to form the basic structure

Then I found a thick piece of MDF to hold the screen

Originally I wanted the whole project only used scrap materials, but I just could not find a board that is large enough to cover the front, so had to buy from Bunnings. BTW, paint is too expensive in NZ.

Once it’s ready, time to exploit some child labour.

And…. here we go the final result
